The challenge

Cold storage and packing lines created high demand charges from May through September, and the roof alone could not hold enough panels.

Our solution

We combined a 286 kW rooftop array with a 126 kW employee carport, scheduling electrical tie-ins for a Sunday shutdown before packing season.

The results

• Shaded parking for 38 staff vehicles
• Completed 9 days ahead of schedule
