Overview
Fresno gets roughly 270 sunny days a year, which makes a well-designed rooftop array one of the most reliable investments a Valley homeowner can make. The catch is that California's Net Billing Tariff (often called NEM 3.0) pays far less for power you export than for power you use. A system that was right-sized in 2019 can be oversized today.
That is why every Brightpath design starts with your usage, not a package. We look at when you use power, which rate plan you are on, whether an EV or pool pump is coming, and how much of your roof faces south or west. The result is a system that self-consumes as much of its own production as possible, often paired with a battery to shift afternoon solar into the expensive 4 pm to 9 pm window.
Our in-house crews install every system. We do not subcontract roof work, and the same project manager stays with you from design to permission to operate.

How the project runs
One project manager from first visit to the day your system switches on.
Bill review and site survey
We review 12 months of usage, then survey your roof, attic and electrical panel in about 60 minutes.
Design and proposal
You get a 3D layout, production estimate and a side-by-side of cash, loan and lease pricing.
Permits and utility approval
We handle City of Fresno or county permits and the interconnection application. Typically 2 to 4 weeks.
Installation day
Our crew installs racking, panels and wiring, usually in a single day for systems under 8 kW.
Inspection and PTO
After the city inspection we submit for permission to operate, then walk you through the monitoring app.

Every attachment is flashed and sealed, and our 25-year workmanship warranty covers roof penetrations. If your roof has less than about 8 years of life left, we will tell you and quote a reroof option.
