The challenge
Summer bills topped $600 and the family planned to add an EV within six months, which would push usage even higher.
Our solution
We designed for future EV usage, moved the pool pump schedule to midday and installed a Level 2 charger with solar-priority scheduling on the same permit.
The results
- Peak summer bill dropped from $614 to $71
- EV charges almost entirely from midday solar
- Installed in one day, permit to PTO in 26 days
